Abstract

The presentation dealt with the changes in the field of remote work proposed by the transposition amendment to the Labour Code, the effectiveness of which is planned in 2023. Together with other speakers including representatives of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, other areas related to the implementation of the European Parliament and Council Directive (EU) 2019/1152 of 20 of June 2019 on transparent and predictable working conditions in the European Union and Directive (EU) 2019/1158 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 on the work-life balance of parents and carers and on the repeal of Council Directive 2010/18/EU ( the so-called Work-life balance directive) were discussed.

Another amendment to the Labour Code and Act on Employment, which is currently beeing prepared partially as a reaction to legal regulation and case law relating to agency employment at EU level was discussed.
