Abstrakt
In cases where it is not possible to supply soldiers with fresh and heat-treated food from field or stationary kitchens, it is necessary to use the system of packaged food rations (BPD). The current BPD in the Army of the Czech Republic (AČR) is no longer satisfactory in terms of page energy or logistics.
The new BPD consists of separate packages for individual daily meals, including a dehydrated ration and special rations intended for the need for a higher energy supply or intended for special types of troops. The new BPD can be combined as desired, and in addition to being used in the AČR, they can also be used for feeding the civilian population in emergency situations.
