Abstract

The state discusses an important moment in the formation of scientific sociology - Max Weber's demand for the constitution of social science without evaluation. The analysis of Weber's life points to the psychological prerequisites for the emergence of his sociological concept and the demand for a value-free science of society.

The discussion surrounding the problematic requirement, which still has its consequences in the field of social sciences, is also mentioned.
