5th edition of the 2022 WHO classification of prostate cancer: changes and novelties in the "Blue Book"

Abstract

This 5th edition of the so-called "Blue Book" comes with a comprehensive update of the terminology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, histopathology, diagnostic-molecular pathology and prognostic-predictive advances of urogenital tumors. This review article summarizes the main changes in the classification of prostate cancer.
