The conference included fifteen papers. The speakers (17) were scholars (from Classical philology, Biblical studies, Czech studies, Polish studies, Sorbian studies) from the Czech Republic (Prague, Charles University, Catholic Theological Faculty and Faculty of Arts; Prague, Czech Academy of Sciences, Institute of the Czech Language; Brno, Masaryk University, Faculty of Arts; Olomous, Palacký University, Faculty of Arts), Poland (UJ Kraków,; UP Kraków; UAM Poznan; UKSW Warszawa), and Germany (UL Leipzig).
The papers dealt with various aspects of biblical translation and the development of the Czech / Polish / Upper Sorbian / Slovak Biblical language and style from the Middle Ages to the present. The papers were presented in Czech (8), Polish (5), Slovak (1) and Upper Sorbian (1).
