Abstract
The subject of this article is an analysis of the obligation of the statutory body of a business corporation to comply with the public procurement rules pursuant to Act No. 134/2016 Coll., on Public Procurement, as amended. This analysis is focused on the definition of the legal basis of the stated obligation of the statutory body, the identification of the requirements that must be met for application of the public procurement rules to a business corporation's activities and the analysis of the possible consequences of actions in violation of the public procurement rules carried out by the members of the statutory body.
