Abstract
This article introduces the European Association for Music in Schools (EAS) initiative EuDaMuS, the European Day of Music in Schools. The aim of the event is to raise general awareness of the importance of music education in schools.
The article offers suggestions for the concept of the day and presents a professionally developed website www.eudamus.cz with foreign and Czech methodological guidelines and gives an example of good practice from the first year of the initiative, which took place at the ZŚ and ZUŠ Jabloňová in Liberec 2022. The project of the KHV PedF UK Creative Interaction as a source of motivation and inspiration in teaching as a starting point for student involvement in EuDaMu is also mentioned.
