Didactics of music education in the context of the development of teachers' professional competencies
Abstract
The paper deals with the importance of the subject of didactics of music education in the broader level of fulfilling professional competences of future music teachers and the demands and requirements placed on university teachers of this subject. The author seeks to capture the aspects that contribute to the meaningful implementation of the didactics of music education and emphasizes the need for didactic teaching approach, the meaningfulness of incorporating other educational contents, the sensitive application of which, together with the conscious development of musical abilities, skills and knowledge, can help children's well-being and the promotion of their social sensitivity.
It presents a set of teachers' professional competencies, to the fulfilment of which the didactics of music education also contributes.
