Abstract
This paper focuses on the issue of the impact of parenthood, especially motherhood, on employment. Based on related theories, documents, data analysis and survey this paper tries to present the basic problematic areas and following measures of public policy. The paper use the concept of de/familizing policies to understand this complex issue (Leitner 2003, Lohmann,
Zagel, 2016).
This issue, one of the key issue of modern social policy, is closely intertwined with the reconciliation of work and family life, fostering labour market participation, gender equality, fertility rates, childcare services and setting of family policy.
