The aim of the article is to present a text that can lead to better understanding of the topic of mothers with congenital and acquired disabilities. For this purpose, it will be analysed how woman/mothers deal with the reality of their child's disability.
What balancing strategies do they choose of and, above all, what is their will to continue to live happy and quality life. The core of the work is a description of two cases of families caring for a child with disability.
Narrative analysis was chosen as the research method, which the authors of study found to be ethically suitable and the most comprehensible for needs of reinterpretation. The article is based on research conducted as part of a diploma thesis.
