Abstract
The contribution will show the possibilities of attractive work with a folk song, the content and vocabulary of which may at first glance seem very distant to today's children. Using examples, the lecturer will present the specifics of the updating method in individual age groups of children/pupils, also with regard to the issue of teaching Czech as a minority/herited language.
