Abstract
The article deals with the structure and amount of donations provided in the Czech Republic to non-governmental non-profit organizations. The authors rely on data from surveys conducted by the Donors' Forum.
The organisations use public resources, have income from private sources and their own income is also linked to social entrepreneurship. Volunteer work and financial assistance from abroad are important.
The Donors' Forum has been building the environment for giving for more than 20 years. It reports on the analyses carried out on the funding of non-profit organisations and on donation on its website.
The research conducted shows that there has been a recent decline in the value of individual donations and a decline in corporate donations. Organizations see an opportunity in focusing on social entrepreneurship.
