The settlement of Pian del Monte in Verucchio. The University of Pavia project and a review of materials from the investigations of the 1970s

Abstract
This intervention is part of a multi-year program of research and studies coordinated by the University of Pavia and directed by Maurizio Harari, aimed at reconstructing the history, environment and the peopling of the ancient settlement of Verucchio located on the high ground of Pian del Monte. An aspect, that of the settlement, which had long remained on the margins of the activities of investigation, analysis and popularization dedicated to one of the key sites of Italian protohistory.
