Report from the workshop held on 22 November 2022 on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Roman law of the Faculty of Law of Charles University, Professor Leopold Heyrovsky (14 November 1852 České Budějovice - 17 February 1924 Prague). L.
Heyrovský was at the birth of Czech legal Roman studies and also served as the first professor of Roman law at the Czech Faculty of Law, from 1882 as an extraordinary professor and from 1890 as a full professor. The workshop was organised by the Department of Legal History together with the editors of Právněhistorické studie.
