Borders and Interfaces: Migration and Intercultural Communication from the Perspective of the Ontology of Movement

Abstract

The chapter deals with the issue of borders and interfaces in the context of migration and intercultural communication from the point of view of the ontology of movement and comments in particular on the studies of the American historian, sociologist and philosopher Thomas Nail and his concept of the ontology of movement as a performative practice and the concept of the figure of the migrant.
