the text presents the results of the 2021 excavation campaign in the Chaume sector of the oppidum of Bibracte. the excavation focused on the intersection of a ditch filled back after the mid-1st century BC and a later road leading to a nearby sanctuary of the Gallo-Roman period and thus studied the issues of the functional transformation of a public space on the watershaed of two historical periods
