Abstract
This article presents the publication Piano Arrangements of Popular Songs, which was created as one of the results of Stanislav Pecháček's online teaching during the covid pandemic in the school years 2019 to 2021. As part of his students' professional training, Pecháček involved doctoral student Boris Nykl and 21 other students of the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague to participate together in the creation of 43 piano arrangements of popular songs.
The result is a set of accompaniments to selected songs that can be used by beginners or advanced performers not only in their pedagogical practice, but also for own pleasure of playing the instruments.
