Interlanguage interferences in the written compositions of the students of Czech Center Kyiv

Abstract

In the following article, we analyze grammar and lexical mistakes made by Ukrainian students of the Czech Center Kyiv in their written compositions due to Ukrainian-Czech interlingual interference, marking out the current language situation in Ukraine and its influence on the students' interlanguage. Subsequently, we describe the error taxonomy chosen for the analysis and continues with formal descriptions and examples of errors.
