Abstract
The article provides a basic overview of the underground's representation of the, with an emphasis on topographic maps and large-scale thematic maps. The general principles of representation of underground and karst are described, as well as the method of representation for specific types of objects, displayed by examples of maps from different countries.
As examples of thematic maps, speleological and mining maps and technical infrastructure plans are described.
