The communication will focus on Occitan-Catalan relations in the second half of the 20th century. Starting from the hypothesis that Bernard Lesfargues was a key player in these relations during the period concerned, it will focus on the discursive position of Lesfargues.
Given that, in the context of exchanges with Catalan correspondents, the only corpus of letters sent by Lesfargues that we currently know is that addressed to Joan Sales, this corpus will constitute the most important primary source, which will be partially supplemented by letters from Sales to Lesfargues. The communication will also try to outline the motivations, intentions and objectives of Lesfargues as a motor of exchanges between the two countries.
