Abstrakt
Hyperbolized transgression is a central motif in the work of Infant Annihilator. This paper aims to show how they use this specific transgression across the different spheres of their work and how they create an affect of irony in a Deleuzian sense in their listeners.
The approach of the paper is based on the processualist theory of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari and the perception of metal music as transgression demonstrated by Keith Kahn-Harris.
