REVISION OF PHYSICS CURRICULUM IN CONTEXT OF "CZECH MAJOR CURRICULUM REVISION" AS A CASE OF DESIGNING SUBJECT CURRICULUM

Abstract

In the Czech literature we can find publications describing curriculum revisions, but none of them is build on existing curriculum theories. Therefore, I present a case study, specifically with process tracing method, to search and explain the causal mechanisms in the working group which is revising the Czech physics curriculum.

I am also going to describe and classify the actors of the revision and look for their arguments for specific changes. The thesis will enrich the theory of curriculum development and curriculum making and may also help in future curriculum revisions.
