Abstrakt
Several teaching units focusing on the Fibonacci sequence, fractal geometry and Pascal's triangle were developed to be implemented with gifted pupils in the 2nd year of primary school to observe the way gifted pupils are motivated by such topics and to evaluate pupils' comprehension of these topics connected to the history of mathematics. The poster describes preliminary results from the teaching and presents several conclusions based on the reflection of the teaching process and the feedback given by the pupils.
