Abstract
Jiřina Šiklová: sociologist, publicist, dissident, feminist, (co)founder of the organization (and to a large extent also the field) Gender Studies and also the Department of social work at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University (FF UK). All and many more of her merits are, were and rightly will be, I hope for a long time, remembered.
Nevertheless, she was also the personification of another "primate", which is not seen very often, that is why I would like to pay attention to her in this memory at least briefly - as a description of who and what Jiřina was. This primate was the combination of gender in social work.
