Recent studies have shown nonrelativistic analogues to various ferromagnetic (FM) phenomena in altermagnets (AM) [1], but their ultrafast versions at THz frequencies remain unknown. In my work, I use THz time domain spectroscopy to study the spin-polarization and spin-splitter effects in D-wave altermagnets using effect of spintronic THz pulse emission [2] as well as the effect of rotation of THz polarization via altermagnetic anomalous Hall effect.
