Abstrakt
The presentation depicts how biomedical and biopolitical technology creates two different ontologies of fetal, prenatal existence. The paper is based on findings from my ethnographic research conducted in 2020-21 among 12 women who experienced pregnancy or perinatal loss and focuses on social and biopolitical aspects of prenatal diagnosis and testing.
