Abstract
The review focuses on the collective monograph by J. G.
Feinberg, I. Landa and J.
Mervart "Karel Kosík and the Dialectics of the Concrete". Contributions by domestic and international scholars are devoted to topics across Kosík's philosophy, with special attention to what is arguably Kosík's most famous work, The Dialectics of the Concrete, and its international reception.
The author's review focuses on the structure and design of the monograph, as well as a more detailed critical reflection on selected contributions of each section of the book. In doing so, she bases her own perspective on Kosík's shorter texts on tragic sacrifice and negative rationality in particular.
