Abstrakt
In this presentation, we will present a brief introduction to Martian plasma depletion events and the variation of electric and magnetic fields. We show that the magnetic fields do not change within the depleted region.
Conversely, the electric field wave power enhances by up to two orders of magnitude at the peak depletion. We present possible formation mechanisms of PDEs supported by recent findings.
