The review study maps and evaluates in detail the scientific contribution of studies that reflect Czech Baudelaire resonances in literature and visual arts (Kristýna Jirátova (ed.), Samota uprostřed davu. Charles Baudelaire a české umění.
Praha: Arbor vitae societas, 2021). At the same time, it offers several alternative proposals on how to approach the given topic, for example by including Foucault's philosophy of existence.
