Graphene enhanced FTIR photoconductivity

Abstract

Epitaxial graphene grown on different types of SiC substrates via thermal decomposition of Si face layer and designs of patterned interdigital gold electrode photodetector devices are introduced to increase photoresponse of graphene-based detectors. FTIR photoconductivity is implemented to study SiC photoconductivity spectrum where graphene enhances the signal 2-4-fold.
