Abstract
This piece tries to introduce moral legalism and different ways of understanding it to the Czech reader. Illustrative definitions demonstrate approaches, explain how the connection of law and morality function, and show difficulties associated with these approaches.
Last part of the article offers examples of current legal moralism which can carry definitional dilemmas. Though in insignificant amount, these dilemmas persist in the Czech criminal law and are not visible enough.
A criminal offence working with legal moralism is not frequent enough or occurs in connection to other more severe criminal acts which can overcast it.
