Abstract
For the performance of some professions, the law stipulates a prerequisite or the employer determines a requirement for a certain psychological (personality) maturity of the applicant for the performance of such a profession. In the post, I will deal with this assumption, or by request, for members of the security forces and municipal police officers.
I will focus on the development of legislation regulating this assumption, or the requirement, its content and effects on legal relations (service or employment relationships) and above all on the jurisprudence of administrative courts, which substantially completes the legislation of the chosen area.
