Abstract
The presentation was focused on proven tips for books from contemporary literature for children aged 3-6 years and offered opportunities to work with the book using an integrative model of reading pre-literacy, which connects all the senses, leads to the use of movement, rhythm, art and other activities that deepen understanding texts. Part of the contribution was also be devoted to the use of poetry for preschool children
