This article deals with the issue of incorporating security issues into framework educational programmes in the Czech Republic. Inter-ministerial discussions between the Ministry of
Education, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport pay marginal attention to the views of the instigators of changes themselves, teachers in practice. The article presents data from a research survey conducted among primary and secondary school teachers who are actively involved in teaching security topics in practice with security issues as part of their qualifications.
