Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the results of the study of the Guînes amber deposit in Pas de Calais (France). It describes the discovery, the importance of this deposit for the Final Bronze Age in France and Europe, and places this discovery within a broader vision of Bronze Age amber finds.

This article is also accompanied by an explanation of the study method for large quantities of raw amber.
