Molecular Characterisation of Archaeological Ambers: Origins and Potential Restorations

Abstrakt

This poster is about the application of GC-MS analysis method on archaeological amber. The analysis results from material preserved in 2 french museums are displayed.

The GC-MS is useful for both determining the origin of the resin fossil, and identifying the substances (if any) used to restore the amber.
