Secondly, the little-known data on the presence of some Jesuits of the Bohemian Province of the 17th and 18th centuries in the southernmost areas of the former Viceroyalty of Peru (present-day Chile and Argentina) is summarised.
Thirdly, attention is drawn to a previously unpublished and probably even unannotated manuscript of another Jesuit of Bohemian origin who worked in Madrid as a royal cosmographer (project of mastering navigation between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans around Cape Horn).
