Abstract
Using the example of the respiratory organs of arthropods (Arthropoda), we can show how organisms with different evolutionary histories solve basic physiological needs. Respiration is influenced by several physical principles, which arthropods have dealt with differently in some aspects, while in others similarly to vertebrates.
We will introduce the main types of respiratory organs and recommend representatives of arthropods on which we can demonstrate them in class.
