Ethical aspects in the indication of cesarean section at the request of a pregnant woman

Abstract

The ethical dilemma of the principle of respect for the autonomy of the pregnant woman and the principle of justice towards the fetus is an important aspect when assessing the ethical acceptability of the indication for cesarean section at the request of the pregnant woman. Ensuring the protection of the interests of the human fetus is an important task of bioethics.

A new ethical dilemma is also the acceptability of applying the positive or negative right of women when choosing the mode of childbirth.
