Abstract
The book's chapter defines the concept of creativity, presents perspectives on children's musical creativity throughout history. It also addresses the question of anchoring creativity in curriculum documents and the creative process itself in schools and its phases.
The chapter also includes the issue of improvisation and composing in pedagogical practice and the principles of pedagogical approach l to the development of children's creativity.
