Abstract
The textbook is designed for students of teaching profession for the first level of primary school with a musical and non-musical focus. It can also be used in bachelor's and subsequent master's studies in music education.
Its main goal is to provide students with knowledge and practical advice in the field of controlled development of pupil's musical creative expressions. On the basis of findings from the general psychology of creativity as well as stimuli from the rich historical development of the problem, the concept of children's musical creativity is defined and its features are characterized in the most important phase of the pupil's musical ontogenesis - in the younger school age.
Attention is also paid to the integrative nature of the creative principle.The focus of the work is an extensive chapter containing methodological suggestions for the controlled development of children's creativity. Its staged nature and the possibilities of different approaches to continuous development are emphasized (criteria of control, originality and independence).This knowledge of the variability of creative situations that a teacher can offer a child at a given stage of musical development leads to a summary of the importance of creativity for the development of a child's personality.
In conclusion, students are offered twenty practical tips on how to approach children's creativity tactfully and sensitively.
