Abstract

The process of fascisation in Europe between the two world wars affected numerous countries. It took two forms: one was the establishment of fascist dictatorships and the other was the penetration of fascist elements into dictatorships that were not fascist (this particularly involved the spread of corporatism).

The plans, revanchism and aggressiveness of the fascists and, to an even greater extent, of the Nazis dragged the world into the Second World War.
