Current issues of implementation of international regulations in the field of protection and restoration of natural habitats into Czech law

Abstract
The paper discusses in the legal part the legal regulation of habitat conservation and restoration at the international level, especially regarding the Convention on Biological Diversity (Rio de Janeiro, 1992) and the Global Framework for Biodiversity (Montreal, 2022). The second part deals with the analysis of the legal regulation in the European Union law, especially the proposal for a directive on the legal framework for nature restoration in the EU, and the third part deals with the current issues and possible directions of implementation of these new requirements of international and European law in the field of protection and restoration of natural habitats into the Czech national legal system from the perspective of de lege ferenda.
