The Influence of Online Discussion Comments and its Influence on the Expression of Critical Thinking, Media Literacy, and Emotional Expressions of Child Readers

Abstract
The text focuses on the influence of online discussion comments on the subsequent reactions of students. The research tool included an online article with discussion comments in four different versions: A) positive comments supporting the ideas of the text, B) comments questioning the information in the text, C) negative comments evoking fear, D) offensive comments primarily directed at the author of the text.
The results show that depending on the nature of the preceding fictional comments, students react differently in the discussion. Student comments vary in terms of the expressions and degree of media literacy and critical thinking, as well as the manifestations of positive or negative emotions.
