Abstract
The teaching text provides basic information about the field of zoogeography, biosphere and biocycles, chorology, island biogeography, zoogeographic division of the Earth, biomes, zoogeographic regions of the world and the Czech Republic are introduced. Emphasis is placed on concrete examples of individual topics.
