Abstract
The presentation is focused on the main ideas of the world EDUsummIT forums organized every two years with the support of UNESCO. In these meetings, participants from different countries around the world are working together on the documents with proposals that respond to the current global challenges, to which all those responsible for education in their countries should respond globally.
One of the big topics from the beginning (in 2009 the first EDUsummIT took place at Kennisnet, The Hague, The Netherlands) is the topic of IT, or digital technology, in the last few years also AI. The author presents the principles of EDUsummIT team work, her experiences with teamwork on EUsummIT meetings since 2011 and some conclusions which were formulated in 2011 to 2023.
Special attention is paid in her lecture to EDUsummIT 2023 in Kyoto and especially to the results reached by the working group TWG 9 "Social Emotional aspects in new modes of learning" chaired by O. Erstad (University Oslo) and M. Černochová (Charles University).
