Abstract
devoted the review to the monograph Alabaster Sculpture in Europe 1300-1650, published on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name organized in Leuven, Belgium. The monograph contains contributions dedicated to alabaster works of art in the countries of Western Europe.
Also included are articles discussing alabaster exploration technology.
