This paper presents preschool teachers' approaches to the education of 2-year-old children in pre-primary education (ISCED 02) in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. The data were obtained in a questionnaire survey conducted in spring 2023 within the KEGA project.
The results of the survey are compared between the two countries. The interpretation of the data takes into account the specificities of the preschool education contexts in both countries resulting from the theoretical analysis of the key conditions for the education of two-year-old children in preschools.
