Abstract

The presentation deals with the issue of selected phenomena that influence the thinking of a child/student when solving a problem. The first part focused on the role of age in communication, or what communication codes an individual prefers in argumentation.

Subsequently, the theory of communication codes was connected with the characteristics of the solved problem, where we focused on the communication code in which the problem was presented, and on the communication code that was necessary to solve the problem, or to communicate the process and result of the solution. it was examine the characteristics of argumentation in preschool and early elementary school in the Czech republic.
