Preparedness of Kindergarten teachers for the development of School Educational Programmes in relation to pre-math literacy,

Abstract

The first part focuses on defining the abilities of kindergarten teachers/teachers necessary for the development of school curricula and for the possible methodological guidance of the team in the field of preparing the child for school mathematics. Four areas are defined here, which are also corresponded to the development of tests for future teachers who will be involved in this, especially for students of the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Pre-school Education. For this purpose, a test in six variants was designed.

The examination of the students' readiness to perform the above tasks is based on the results of tests over the last 15 years.
